A logical fallacy is a flaw in reasoning. Logical fallacies are like tricks or illusions of thought, and they're often very sneakily used by politicians and the media to fool people. Don't be fooled! We live in the most rapidly changing time in all of human history, and the need to teach kids how to think critically and independently has never been greater, but the big question is how do we change our education system?
Well, what if we applied the same creativity and engagement that we employ for the entertainment and advertising industries, but to education instead? It seems a reasonable hypothesis that if we gave teachers and students free access to highly engaging independent thinking resources (bypassing the bureaucracy) that it might make a very real difference. The thing about hypotheses, though, is that they need to be tested...
